The resort Truden/Trodena in the midst of the wildlife park Trudner Horn/Monte Corno attracts with its highly winding mountain roads which are all in very good condition and not much travelled. Here you will find unique alpine pass roads.The region in the south of Brenner/Brennero has been known for a long time not only as a paradise for hikers, wine lovers and cyclists. The numerous mountain roads with a wonderful panoramic view and the various alpine pass roads and curves will certainly make a real biker-heart beat faster. As the point of departure, Truden/Trodena, which is situated at the south of the capital city Bozen/Bolzano, offers endless highlights for a joyride with a unique alpine scenery. On one day a biker can easily cover a distance of 300 km on roads which are all in an excellent condition and without tolls. On these attractive routes you have also the possibility to have a rest in highly equipped roadhouses with a unique panoramic view amidst the “most beautiful mountains of the world”, how the famous alpinist Reinhold Messner calls the Dolomites.
If you are interested in botany or simply like nature, then you absolutely have to visit the “loveliest gardens of Italy”, the botanic gardens of Castel Trauttmansdorff in Meran/Merano (50 km from Truden/Trodena). The whole program the Ludwigshof is offering to his guests is so wide and various that you will hardly get to know everything in one single motorbike-season.
