Do you want to start as soon as possible? Even your motorbike can’t wait? Then in any case the Ludwigshof in Truden/Trodena is the right choice for you. For years the hotel, which is situated amidst the most idyllic landscape at the south of Bozen/Bolzano concentrates on holidays for motorbikers.

For owner and motor freak Werner it is easy to give you precious advices and to elaborate an adequate tour for everyone. There is nothing better than just biking, and the rest is handled by Werner, his Ducati and the Ludwigshof. The individual treatment of each guest is very important at the Ludwigshof.

In the evenings all the bikers have the possibility to get to know each other and to compare notes or to plan their next trips.

Exclusively guided tours are free for our MoHo Lugwigshof guests and owner Werner is enthusiastic of organizing them himself. (Between ourselves: …Werner and his DUCATI can’t wait for any demand, freaks know what we mean ;-)

Truden/Trodena, Kaltern/Caldaro or Eppan/Appiano – the idyllic villages at the wine route are strategic points of departure for fantastic biker tours. Who would have dreamt that this trip would lead you through a wonderland? Secret roads across the vineyards, an endless number of curves and serpentines along the hospitable inns and taverns… From Girlan/Cornaiano it goes over Jenesien/San Genesio up to the sunny high plateau Meran 2000 and then towards Castle Trauttmansdorff. From the Gampenpass/Passo Palade you will come to the Passo Mendola with Monte Penegal, then downhill where you will discover the most charming setting of a beautiful lake, the Lake Monticolo which is situated in the heart of a romantic and enchanted landscape.


BAD WEATHER PROGRAMM

Rainy weather during your holiday? Who would have thought that? If you want to avoid getting all soppy on your motorbike you can choose a day of spa at the Ludwigshof. Sauna facilities with whirlpool and steam bath are at your disposal from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can visit the nearby Ducati factory, the Maranello Ferrari factory or simply have a walk through the picturesque Old Town of Bozen/Bolzano with a side trip to Ötzi, the Iceman, at the Archeological Museum or to Reinhold Messner’s Mountain Museum Firmian. You can have a day of spa at the thermal springs of Meran/Merano or you can choose a wine-tasting in one of the traditional wineries.
