Travel insuranceBefore you start something unforeseen can always happen. You are covered for any financial loss with our travel cancellation insurance.Should you arrive late for a hotel booking you have made or cannot come at all or have to leave early, cancellation fees, in accordance with EU regulations can be passed on to you. In order not to incur any charges in such circumstances, we recommend that you take out this travel insurance so that these charges will be paid for you by the Europäische Reiseversicherung. We therefore recommend to you:  Terms of cancellationThere is no refund of deposits paid for cancellations made between the 30th and 8th days before arrival.In the event of cancellations made less than 8 days before arrival, 60% of the hotel rate for the days booked will be charged. For late arrivals and premature departures we charge an empty bed fee of 60% of the hotel rate. Group tours People travelling together are regarded as a unit by the agent or organisation arranging the travel and the hotel if they number 20, arrive and depart together and are billed as one group of travellers. At the very latest at least 31 days before the agreed day of arrival of the guests, the agent must let the hotel manager know in writing the number of guests. If a single member of a group or a whole group cancels less than 30 days before the agreed day of arrival, the cancellation conditions: In the event of late arrival, non-occupation of booked room for the agreed period and not cancelled or in the event of early departure, we charge the cost of the full period booked. |
