Truden & its surroundings – holidays in Truden
The resort of Truden in the south of South Tyrol is located in the hiking paradise of Trudner Horn, south of Bozen – in the heart of the nature park with the most species-rich fauna and flora of South Tyrol – and is the most southern German-speaking holiday region of the south side of the Alps. Hiking in Truden is an adventure for all the family. The nearby Bletterbach affectionately known as the "Grand Canyon of South Tyrol”, and the climbing garden are located on the popular hiking routes.
The village of Truden, original, comfortable as from the year dot, is the ideal holiday destination for varied and eventful tours to the most beautiful places of interest south of the Alps. Day trips to Lake Garda, the Seiser Alm or also to Bozen and Meran for shopping must of course be part of your South Tyrol holiday.
Whoever comes to Truden for a ski holiday in winter has a wide selection ofski areas nearby to choose from. Val di Fiemme, Obereggen and Jochgrimm are only a short car trip away and even after many days still offer ski enthusiasts new kilometres of pistes they can ski down. |
