In the Trudner Horn Nature Reserve
Hiking, biking and more around the Trudner Horn
Lush greenery, as far as the eye can see… a true natural paradise opens up the minute you set foot outside the Ludwigshof & Luvina in Trodena. The Trudner Horn Nature Reserve stretches from Val di Fiemme to Valle dell’Adige, between Egna and the Chiusa di Salorno and reveals a great deal of attractive destinations for day trips and natural wonders that you just have to see while you’re with us.
The Trudner Horn Nature Reserve is home to the Hotel Ludwigshof & Luvina also covers the municipalities of Anterivo, Montagna, Egna, Salorno and Trodena. The area’s flora and fauna are especially diverse. Trodena itself is actually quite a special border area, in terms of geology and language and geography. This is where the apple plantations meet the south facing vineyards. We have a mild climate, which is particularly pleasant in the summer.
Are you after a little variety during your South Tyrolean holiday? There’s loads to do, especially here in the very south of the region! Go on a day trip to the Lago di Caldaro, where you won’t be able to get enough of the opportunities to swim, sail or surf, or take the whole family to the nearby climbing garden. Paragliding is also available… something adrenaline junkies won’t be able to resist! You’ll never have had such a unique holiday!
