Road bike tours in Southern South Tyrol
Well-maintained cycling routes lead along the Etsch River all the way to Lake Garda and up to the famous Dolomite passes. Stunning views of South Tyrol’s wine villages are, of course, part of the experience.

E-bike tour along the former Val di Fiemme railway at the foot of the Marmolada or past Lake Caldaro to Bolzano
The starting point for this tour is Hotel Ludwigshof in Truden in the Nature Park. From here, the route first heads two kilometers downhill to Kaltenbrunn to the bike path of the former Val di Fiemme railway. Then, the route leads either right toward Val di Fiemme to the foot of the Sella Group or left out of the valley, past historic bridges, orchards, and old tunnels to Lake Caldaro.
Mountainbike tour – Altrei - Truden
This tour starts in Truden and leads through woods and alpine pastures in the direction of the Krabes Alm, which is the perfect spot for a first break. Passing the “Langes Moos” biotope, the trail continues to Altrei, offering a beautiful view of the Lagorai Mountain Range in the distance. The route then leads over the Cisa mountain pass and back to the starting point in Truden.
